As a Buyer, you'll:
  • Process Orders: Efficiently process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of all components and consumables..
  • Supplier Relations: Liaise with suppliers to resolve any order discrepancies or delivery issues. Ensuring all components are purchased competitively, on time and that goods are received within expected lead times.
  • Maintain Records: Maintain accurate purchase order records and supplier databases. Monitoring top components and ensuring items that are running low are ordered and received on time to prevent run out, considering supplier lead times.
  • Assist with Requisitions: Support the Purchasing team in preparing purchase requisitions.
  • Provide Support: Assist with ad-hoc tasks as required.

What We're Looking For:
  • Purchasing/Buyer Experience: Proven experience in a purchasing or administrative Buyer role.

Apprentice Engineering Operative


Maxflow Power Products, the UK and Ireland's largest pressure washer and power product manufacturer! We are consistently expanding and are seeking a keen Apprentice Engineering Operative to join our dynamic team in Cookstown.

This apprenticeship is in partnership with Northern Regional College, and our ideal candidate must have achieved or be expected to achieve:

  • A minimum of 4 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grade 4/ C or above, including Maths, Science and English.
  • A hands-on approach and willingness to learn new skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • A team player with good communication skills
     
As an Apprentice you will undertake a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Engineering. Units may include:

As an Apprentice Engineering Operative, you will:
  • Fabricate: Manufacture chassis and key product components with precision, using fabricating and welding skills.
  • Earn as you Learn: Get paid as you earn your recognised engineering qualifications.
  • State-of-the-Art Equipment: Use of various welding and CNC machinery on a day-to-day basis.
  • Practical Skills Development: You’ll gain hands-on skills that are directly applicable to engineering & assembly roles. Your experience will include assembling engine-driven and electric pressure washers using a variety of hand and power tools, working with fuel systems, and applying wiring and electronics skills within our electrical engineering department. You’ll also learn sheet metal and tubing fabrication techniques, including welding.
